Dario is a Software Engineer from Universidad ORT Uruguay since 2008, with a Master's degree in Engineering (same university). He works as a professor of Software Engineering since 2013 and is a tutor of final projects since 2016.
Academically, he is interested in conducting scientific research in the field of Software Engineering to add value to its body of knowledge. At the same time, he wants to satisfy some practical needs of the industry, especially those related to quality assurance and decision making. He thinks it may be helpful to bring tools from the scientific environment closer to the daily activities of software development.
Finally, his technical skills are complemented by an adaptive capacity to lead projects, ranging from projects (as PM or Scrum Master) following agile methodologies (Scrum, XP) or more traditional ones, taking care of the complete SDLC (mainly requirement elicitation/specification and quality assurance).
