Java 21 is the latest version of Java. This object-oriented programming language lets developers write once and run anywhere with its "write once, run anywhere" capability. The syntax of Java 21 makes it easier to read and write code by optimizing things like the switch statement with pattern matching for switches. It also has improved Foreign Function and Memory API making it easier to connect native code written in other languages; it has also updated the JDK Flight Recorder (JFR) for profiling performance data at runtime.
