X# is a computer language that brings Clipper and .NET together. X# was initially called Vulcan.NET, which was an evolution of the Visual Objects dialect. The platform was built on the basis of Harbour and xBase++ — open-source compilers for xBase languages — and extends the syntax to take advantage of features in C#, making it easier for developers to migrate existing code from Clipper or other xBase implementations into more modern platforms like .NET Core or Xamarin.
